KUPANG TIMES - The Bulan Bintang Party has officially declared Prabowo Subianto, as a presidential candidate, in the upcoming 2024 Presidential Election, Sunday (30/07/23).
The declaration, in effect, celebrated the 25th Milad of the Bulan Bintang Party.
Political parties that look close to Prabowo Subianto, namely; PKB, which so far, has formed a coalition with Gerindra, to nominate Prabowo-Muhaimin.
However, in the last two weeks, the relationship between the two has not been so good, when the PDI-P offered Cak Imin the cawapres position to accompany Ganjar Pranowo.
PKB chairman, Muhaimin Iskandar, said PKB would officially support the name of the new presidential candidate, which would be announced in October 2023, while looking at the political dynamics that were occurring.

This condition is similar to the Indonesian Solidarity Party, which from the start supported Ganjar Pranowo, before it was officially announced.
However, until now, the PSI DPP has not established communication with the PDI-P DPP, regarding the presidential nomination coalition.
Several parties, which have not officially declared their support for the presidential candidate, include the Golkar Party and PAN.
The Golkar Party in particular, currently has the potential to split, between Golkar supporters of Prabowo Subianto and supporters of Ganjar Pranowo.
