ENGLAND, KUPANG TIMES - A number of universities in the UK have reduced their study hours, which aims to give students the opportunity to work to make ends meet.
reported by The Guardian, Sunday (27/08/23), the high cost of living in England today, forces most students to work part time, to make ends meet.
The vast majority of students in the UK are now working, during their studies, seeing an increase of 45% in 2022 and 34% in 2021.
Accommodation costs to loans, are not enough to cover the living and educational costs of students.
Many of them decided to leave university to work.
