UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, KUPANG TIMES - The CEO of Tiktok, Shou Zi Chew, has become the talk of the world, after being examined by the United States Parliament / Congress, for 5 hours, regarding the security system of the Tiktok application platform.

The United States Congress, accused Tiktok, of endangering the United States Security system, by storing the personal data of United States citizens.

United States Security Experts have warned that Tiktok could be used to monitor and spy on the personal data of users of the Tiktok platform / or as a propaganda tool for the Chinese Government.

Currently, as many as 150 million social media activists in the world use the Tiktok application platform.

The world's largest user of the Tiktok application is the United States.

Apart from being considered dangerous and threatening the United States Security system, the presence of the Tiktok application platform has also succeeded in becoming a serious threat to its competitors, such as; Facebook • Instagram • and YouTube.

Currently, advertisers are starting to consider staying away from META and YouTube.

Advertisers are starting to approach Tiktok, to reach its followers, which are bigger than the application platforms owned by META and YouTube.

According to the Omdia Research Institute, online video advertising, generates more than USD 331 Billion, in 2027 and 37% of that revenue, is sourced from the application platform Tiktok, rivaling META and YouTube.
