PROVINCE OF EAST JAVA, KUPANG TIMES - The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, accompanied by the First Lady, Iriana, visited the Regional General Hospital dr. Saiful Anwar, Malang City, East Java Province, on Wednesday (05/10/22), to see firsthand the condition of the survivors from the tragedy of the Malang Kanjuruhan Stadium.
The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, explained that his visit to the hospital today was to ensure that the survivors received the best service from the hospital.
In addition, the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo also said that; "The care of the survivors of the tragedy at the Kanjuruhan Stadium in Malang will be entirely borne by the government,"
On that occasion, the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, also met with the families of the victims who died from the tragedy of the Kanjuruhan Stadium in Malang, to provide some compensation.
A total of 129 families of the victims who died from the tragedy of the Kanjuruhan Stadium in Malang, received compensation of IDR 50 million from the Government.
